Kamehameha Hawai'i had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against Kea'au on Friday 21-14. That result is just more of the same for Kamehameha Hawai'i, who also won the last time these teams played.
Junior Kilohana Haasenritter, who picked up 160 yards on the ground and threw 1 TD, was a major factor in the success. This was the first game for both teams, giving Kamehameha Hawai'i a 1-0 record and starting Kea'au off at 0-1.
Next week, Kamehameha Hawai'i take on Kealakehe at 7:00 PM. Kea'au will look to defend their home turf next week against Konawaena at 7:00 PM.
