If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Blake. They will challenge Northwood on the road at 6:30 PM on Friday. Blake are cruising in on a five-game winning streak while Northwood are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
Blake won against Seneca Valley last Saturday with 32 points, and Blake decided to stick to that point total again last Saturday. Blake took their matchup against Seneca Valley by a conclusive 32-3 score. Followers of Blake probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Northwood lost to Magruder, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-42. Northwood were down by 6-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Blake were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Northwood 56-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Blake since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
