This season hasn't been kind to Milford Christian, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 56-17 loss at the hands of Dominion Academy. Milford Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-9.
Dominion Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Elizabeth Zink out in front who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Gebhart, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.
Milford Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Dominion Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milford Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Dayton Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Dominion Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Spring Valley Academy at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spring Valley Academy is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
