Johnathan Touma posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Touma's strong effort led Niagara Falls over North Tonawanda and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
