Cadillac is 10-0 against Reed City since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Cadillac Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Reed City Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Cadillac is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Michigan (they are ranked 23rd, while Reed City is ranked 102nd).
After a string of four wins, Cadillac's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a hard 61-46 fall against Wayne Memorial.
Meanwhile, Reed City came tearing into Tuesday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged Clare out 45-42. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Reed City has scored all year.
Cadillac's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-2. As for Reed City, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2.
Everything came up roses for Cadillac against Reed City when the teams last played back in March of 2023 as the squad secured a 49-22 victory. Does Cadillac have another victory up their sleeve, or will Reed City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
