In other batting news, Kenton Ridge got a massive performance out of Zach Deel, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Aiden Yeatts also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Kenton Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shawnee only managed five hits.
Kenton Ridge pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Shawnee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
