Virgil James Kuper Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Plateau Valley's Virgil James Kuper, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Thursday Kuper rushed for 317 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
The victory (which was Plateau Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Kuper's next game is against Soroco on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Brayden Dudley Puts an End to Soroco's Losing Streak on Friday
Thanks in part to Brayden Dudley, Soroco said goodbye to their 14-game losing streak dating back to last season. Nobody could stop Dudley on Friday as he rushed for 234 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Soroco's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Dudley and Soroco will host Plateau Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Joe Harris Goes Supernova in Hayden Victory
Hayden found a leader in Joe Harris as the team took down Vail Christian on Saturday. Nobody could stop Harris as he rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Harris and Hayden will host West Grand at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Harris up against the Mustangs' star receiver Joe Probst. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.

Ethan Silva Delivers Best Performance of Season
Hayden was led to victory by Ethan Silva, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Silva rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 41 receiving yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
Silva and Hayden will square off against West Grand at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Silva will face off against Blake Terryberry, the Mustangs' star quarterback. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

Austin Grundy Turns in Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles
Austin Grundy produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Plateau Valley to the win on Thursday. Grundy wasn't messing around, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making 15 total tackles. The match was his eighth straight with six or more total tackles.
On the year, Grundy has averaged 10.1 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 2.75 total tackles per game.
