Centennial won the last time they faced Legacy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Longhorns 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Longhorns since October 17, 2017.

Centennial had a senior duo take command as Avery Meservey had eight digs and three aces and Dalilah Carvajal had four digs and one block. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Meservey.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Legacy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
