Elk Rapids entered their tilt with Cheboygan on Thursday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. Elk Rapids pushed their record up to 19-3 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road. As for Cheboygan,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-9.
 Looking ahead, Elk Rapids will be playing in front of their home fans against Traverse City Christian  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Cheboygan, they will venture away from home to  face off against Boyne City  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday.
