The Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles will stay at home for another game and welcome the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Plymouth Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Friday, Plymouth Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over University Liggett, taking the game 61-48. With that win, Plymouth Christian Academy brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Dylan Beasley and Ray Weber were among the main playmakers for Plymouth Christian Academy as the former scored 20 points along with five rebounds and the latter scored 17 points along with six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Beasley has scored at least 25% of Plymouth Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Sexton, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Detroit Country Day pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 67-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northville. While losing is never fun, Detroit Country Day can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 504th, while Northville is ranked 221st).
The win got Plymouth Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Detroit Country Day, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-3.
