St. John Bosco extended the longest winning streak in Trinity this week by beating Servite, 42-21. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Braves.
St. John Bosco took down the Friars 42-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Servite's dynamic duo of Neil Pauu and Equanimeous St. Brown proved tough for Jason Negro's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pauu threw for 44 yards and St. Brown had 53 yards receiving. Tyler Coleman helped Servite's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 10 yards.
Jack Savage made the biggest impact on defense this week as A.J. Gass' team fell to the Braves. He grabbed 1 sack.
Luke Langdon provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Orange Lutheran fell to Mater Dei. He completed 2 passes for 51 yards and also ran for 103 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Nick Robinson of JSerra Catholic is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,942. He has also thrown 21 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Shay Fields. The St. John Bosco star has 52 catches for 953 yards.
So far this year, he has garnered 51 catches for 909 yards.
Sean McGrew of the St. John Bosco is just 49 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 94 carries McGrew has put up 951 yards this year.
The Braves led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Friars.
