The biggest upset of the week belonged to South Forsyth, who took down 184th ranked South Forsyth, 22-10.
Alpharetta was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in AAAAAA Region 6. Earlier in the week, the Raiders triumphed over Chattahoochee 21-19.
West Forsyth's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. A.J. Erdely threw for 206 and three touchdowns and Hampton McConnell had 86 yards receiving. On the ground Jake Wieczorek chipped in 108 yards. Wieczorek helped West Forsyth's passing attack out by catching three balls for 45 yards.
Brett Anderson made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Wolverines beat North Forsyth. The 5-foot-11 junior racked up two sacks.
6-foot-4 quarterback Erdely of West Forsyth is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1277. He has also thrown 13 touchdowns. On the ground, Johns Creek's Skye Overton has rushed for 685 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Christian Robinson. The Centennial star has 33 catches for 529 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Wolverines take on the Cougars. West Forsyth's offense has racked up 294 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Chattahoochee has allowed only 114 on the year.
A big matchup in AAAAAA Region 6 this week will be when the Cougars take on the Wolverines. As it stands, Chattahoochee is in fourth, while West Forsyth is in first.

The Wolverines extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Raiders, 38-3. The victory was the seventh in a row for West Forsyth.
