After three games on the road, Adena is heading back home. They will take on the Huntington Huntsmen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Adena focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Adena strolled past Southeastern with points to spare, taking the game 68-54.
Adena got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Joedy Ater out in front who scored 22 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas King, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Huntington was beaten by Unioto 61-34 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Huntington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 752nd, while Unioto is ranked 246th).
Adena has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Huntington, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
Adena strolled past Huntington in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 54-38. Does Adena have another victory up their sleeve, or will Huntington turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
