Lubbock moved up to 624 from 822 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region I District 4. The Westerners climbed the ranks as a result of a 22-7 win over Andrews.
Lubbock took down the Mustangs 22-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Plainview's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Wes McCutcheon has thrown for 69 yards and one touchdown this season, while Daniel Miller has one catches for 27 yards. Miller leads the league in rushing with 164 yards.
Frenship and Palo Duro played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Frenship eventually emerging with a 45-41 victory.
