Meadow Bridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Roberts, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds. Lilly Hayes was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 8 assists and 5 steals.
Meanwhile, Craig County didn't have too much trouble with North Cross at home on Thursday as they won 48-29.
Meadow Bridge's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Craig County, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
