The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Waterloo in their matchups with Shoals Christian: they've now lost eight in a row.
Sarah Davis (2025) continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Shoals Christian, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Davis (2025) hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Kaleigh Owen was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Waterloo's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7. As for Shoals Christian, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Cherokee the next time they take the court. Shoals Christian will host Cherokee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Waterloo will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
