While Chaney's win against McKinley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cowboys had just enough and edged out the Red Dragons 5-4 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Cowboys, who have now won three matches in a row.

Chaney's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for McKinley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaney will face off against Struthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cowboys are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for McKinley, they will square off against Lakeview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
