The Lake Worth Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Coral Glades at home to the tune of 73-46. Lake Worth might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four contests by 22 points or more this season.
Coral Glades' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tahir Bond, who scored 13 points. The match was Bond's third in a row with at least ten points. Dylan Burrowes was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Lake Worth's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 22.83 points. As for Coral Glades, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Worth will be home for the holidays to greet Hialeah Educational Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hialeah Educational Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Lake Worth likes a good challenge. Coral Glades won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pembroke Pines Charter at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th. Pembroke Pines Charter will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
