On Friday Mashpee take on Abington at 7:00 PM. Each team will be battling to keep their 3-game winning streak alive.
Mashpee didn't have too much trouble with Coyle-Cassidy last Friday as they won 18-0. No one put up better numbers for Mashpee than senior Devaun Ford, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 179 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with nine tackles Ford was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Abington strolled past Norwell with points to spare, taking the matchup 25-7.
Mashpee had enough points to win and then some against Abington the last time the two teams met, taking their contest 40-20. Mashpee's victory shoved Abington out of the playoffs, so expect the team will have a target on their back in this one.
