The Berkshire Badgers will be taking part in a tournament against the Champion Golden Flashes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berkshire will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.
On Saturday, Berkshire earned a 3-1 victory over Canfield.
If you add up the scores from across all four sets (88-86) Berkshire actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 11-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-19.

Berkshire's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Chuha, who had 15 assists and eight digs. That's the most assists Chuha has posted over her last 12 contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Bower, who had 12 digs and two assists.
Berkshire was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive matches.
Champion had taken Newton Falls down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Golden Flashes lost 3-0 to the Tigers.
Champion was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Newton Falls work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-17, 25-20.
Berkshire's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Champion, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's matchup: Berkshire has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 11.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Champion struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Berkshire's way against Champion in their previous matchup back in August, as Berkshire made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Badgers repeat their success, or do the Golden Flashes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
