On Friday, Earlham are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against West Central Valley at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Earlham couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-42 punch to the gut against Van Meter last Friday.
Meanwhile, West Central Valley had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They suffered a grim 16-42 defeat to Des Moines Christian last week. West Central Valley were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
