With a playoff game on the line, the Nazarene Christian Academy Lions rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Fighting Crusaders 52-6 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Nazarene Christian Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.
Dominic Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 162 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Chandler Luedtke was in the mix as well, providing Nazarene Christian Academy with two touchdowns.
Andy Wisniewski and A.J. Rollins certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Wisniewski rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown, while Rollins picked up 47 receiving yards.
Nazarene Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Azle Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Nazarene Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Prestonwood Christian North at 7:30 p.m. on November 24th. Prestonwood Christian North is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Azle Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
