Longmont actually scored more points across those five sets (108-103), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 14-25, 23-25, 25-23, 16-14.
Erie's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Longmont, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3.
