Tahoma is a perfect 10-0 against Kentridge since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Tahoma will look to defend their home field against Kentridge at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tahoma comes in on three and Kentridge on four.
Tahoma lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Kentwood, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. Tahoma put the hurt on Kentwood with a sharp 20-2 win on Thursday. The Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Alexa Ramirez was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mia Hammington, who fired off three home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 5-for-5. Those three home runs gave her a new career-high. Malina Yelle was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Tahoma always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Kentridge narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Mt. Rainier 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted against the Rams since May 1, 2018.
Kenzie Coble was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That stolen base was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alissa Andrews, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Tahoma's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Kentridge, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
Everything went Tahoma's way against Kentridge in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Tahoma made off with a 10-0 win. Will Tahoma repeat their success, or does Kentridge has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
