In what's become a running theme this season, the Turpin Cardinals gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Elkhart with a sharp 71-45 victory. Winning may never get old, but Turpin sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Turpin was led to victory by Bryson Parker and Jhett Huffman. Parker scored 20 points, while Huffman scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Huffman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Peters, who scored eight points.
Turpin has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Elkhart, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Turpin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elkhart, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lakin at 7:00 p.m. Elkhart will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Lakin is ranked 38th).
