Meanwhile, Washington-Wilkes' eight-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Harlem by a score of 49-36. That 49-36 margin sets a new team best for Washington-Wilkes this season.
Greene County's victory bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Washington-Wilkes, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.
