The Aubrey Rogers Patriots will challenge the Clewiston Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Aubrey Rogers 3.2, Clewiston 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Aubrey Rogers is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Gateway Charter on Monday as they made off with a 22-2 win. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.
Cole Woessner looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Alex Peters was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Harry Lyons, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.
Aubrey Rogers always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gateway Charter only posted an OBP of .318.
Meanwhile, Clewiston suffered their closest defeat since April 25, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Sebring by a score of 4-2. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Blue Streaks: they've now lost eight in a row.
Cayson Holman was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Holman was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Holman wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Graysen Redish, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Aubrey Rogers' victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Clewiston, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
Both Aubrey Rogers and Clewiston just can't seem to miss. The Patriots have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game. However, it's not like Clewiston struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance. Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
