Oak Hills came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Apple Valley Sun Devils 13-2. That looming 13-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

CARSYN LEON spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, JADE WHITMAN was a standout: she fired off two home runs, four RBI, and two doubles while going 4-for-5. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was KAYLA CAZARES, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Oak Hills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive contests.

The win got Oak Hills back to even at 8-8. As for Apple Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6-1.

Looking ahead, Oak Hills will be playing at home against Sultana at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Sultans have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matches. As for Apple Valley, they will challenge Serrano at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
