Ashley had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Screaming Eagle have posted since May 7, 2024.
Jackson Lee looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those no hits gave him a new career-low.
At the plate, Quinn Bentley was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.
