The Carroll County Panthers won the last time they faced the Cornerstone Christian Academy Bulldogs, and things went their way on Monday too. Carroll County took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 81-34 victory over Cornerstone Christian Academy. With that win, Carroll County brought their scoring average up to 60 points per game.
Braden Stephenson was a one-man wrecking crew for Carroll County as he scored 28 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Landon Supplee, who scored 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Carroll County and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carroll County will take on Trimble County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Trimble County's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Cornerstone Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gallatin County at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
