With a playoff win on the line, Faustina Academy rose to the challenge on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs a 47-0 shutout. Fans of the Falcons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Faustina Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Adrian Medina and Kevin Wood. Faustina Academy received some extra help from Matt Jeggle, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Faustina Academy's record now sits at 11-0. As for Methodist Children's Home, they moved to 5-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Faustina Academy nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
