Truman (Taylor, Mich.) Saturday.
The Cougars pulled ahead on a rushing touchdown, and subsequently went into halftime leading 22-21. The Bears took the lead to win the game on a
D'Aries Davis touchdown run in the third quarter.
Donovan Stewart was one of the big reasons Roosevelt got the victory, as he threw four touchdowns.
Truman came in giving up 10.0 points per game this season. THS struggled against Roosevelt's offense, which entered the game scoring 44.6 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Truman, which notched a 54-0 victory over Kennedy in its previous outing.
Roosevelt (8-0) goes up against Kennedy in a Downriver game matchup next week, while Truman (6-2) locks horns with Melvindale also in a Downriver game.
