Estevan Mariscal made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up five earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.
In other batting news, Daniel Mosier was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Jose Duran was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four runs, two RBI, and one double.
