Given Eastwood's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while Pebble Hills is ranked 403rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Devin Falk-Ramirez was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with two steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Naythan Sauceda, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Eastwood's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-10. As for Pebble Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-13.
Eastwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pebble Hills, they will be playing at home against El Dorado at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pebble Hills is facing El Dorado at the right time seeing as El Dorado is stuck on a 11-game losing streak.
