Auburn put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took the contest and then some with a 47-8 victory over Bland-Rocky Gap. Auburn were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Auburn will stay at home next week against Galax at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. As for Bland-Rocky Gap, they will face off against Wythe. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
