The Byron-Bergen Bees won against the Avoca-Prattsburgh Titans on Saturday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Byron-Bergen secured a 59-53 W over Avoca-Prattsburgh. Byron-Bergen pushed the score to 49-28 by the end of the third, a deficit Avoca-Prattsburgh cut but never quite recovered from.
Despite the loss, Avoca-Prattsburgh saw an underclassman step up: Jaeden Crowder scored 25 points. Macoy Putnam was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Byron-Bergen's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Avoca-Prattsburgh, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Byron-Bergen will be playing at home against East Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Avoca-Prattsburgh does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
