George Edwards posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out four batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, Edwards and Clay will head out to take on Southview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are at an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long.
