It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Riverside had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Stone Bridge Bulldogs a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Riverside, who have now won ten matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Riverside's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those eight games. As for Stone Bridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7-2.
