The Williamstown Braves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight loss. They took a serious blow against Penns Grove, falling 63-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Williamstown has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Penns Grove to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mekhi Ballard, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Gipson, who scored 12 points.
Williamstown dropped their record down to 1-20 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Penns Grove, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
