Central Bucks East moved up to 183 from 217 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Suburban One - Continental. The Patriots climbed the ranks as a result of beating Central Bucks South 28-21.
Central Bucks West extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Hatboro-Horsham, 47-21. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Bucks.
Kevin Witchey threw for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 13-22 with 2 interceptions.
Manny Nieves was the best wideout in the league this week as Souderton lost to Quakertown. Nieves tallied 7 receptions for 111 yards. Jake Smerecki helped Souderton's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 11 yards.
Pennridge's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Rams feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Pasquale has thrown for 1,211 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Micah Stutzman has 35 catches for 580 yards.
One of Suburban One - Continental's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when Pennridge and Central Bucks East face off next week.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Central Bucks West takes on North Penn. At the moment, Brian Hensel's team is in first, while the Knights are in third.
The Panthers and the Indians played the closest game in the league this week, with the Panthers eventually emerging with a 24-21 victory.
