The Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 69-26 loss at the hands of Liberty Charter. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Gem State Adventist Academy has scored all season.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Jarod Avalos and
Tyler Grimaldo, who each put up six points.
Gem State Adventist Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Liberty Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gem State Adventist Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. Wilder is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Liberty Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
