With a playoff win on the line, University rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lewis-Palmer Rangers. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on five straight.
Livianna Aguilar was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 18 digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in October.
Lewis-Palmer's loss came despite strong showings from Ariana O'Connor and Cady Knight. O'Connor had 13 digs, while Knight had 21 digs and two aces. Knight has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 29 times she's played.
University's win bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Lewis-Palmer, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 20-10 record.
University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Windsor on the 15th. Lewis-Palmer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
