Port Jefferson might be getting used to good results now that the squad have three wins in a row. They put the hurt on Hampton Bays with a sharp 35-7 win. Port Jefferson were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Port Jefferson back to even at 3-3. Hampton Bays are on a five-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-5.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Port Jefferson will be playing at home against Shoreham-Wading River at at 2:00 PM next week. Those two teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games. Hampton Bays will stay at home against Wyandanch at 7:00 PM.
