 Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Hornets 38-17. The Vikings' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Joseph Garcia looked great while leading his team to the win,  throwing for 149 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes.
 Pleasant Valley has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season. As for Shasta, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 6-3.
