The Hidden Valley Titans can finally bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against Blacksburg as Hidden Valley made off with a 30-6 victory. The victory was just what Hidden Valley needed coming off of a 62-20 defeat in their prior match.
Among those leading the charge was Israel Guerrero, who rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Hidden Valley's victory bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Blacksburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Hidden Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Pulaski County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pulaski County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hidden Valley in Virginia (Pulaski County is ranked 129th, while Hidden Valley is ranked 272nd). As for Blacksburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Patrick Henry will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
