On Saturday, the Shiloh Generals faced the Riverwood Raiders in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Shiloh blew past Riverwood 80-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Shiloh to victory were Tylis Jordan and Jullien Cole. Jordan dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Cole dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Cole's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Stephen, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The win for Shiloh keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Riverwood, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
Shiloh will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Berkmar. As for Riverwood, they will challenge St. Pius X Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Pius X Catholic will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
