 Presley Lilly made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   four  hits. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  strikeouts (three). She was even better at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Hailly Thrush was a standout: she got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chloee Steward, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Clear Fork  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They are 5-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 Marion Harding moved to 7-9 with that  defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Clear Fork, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
