Braden Schreck had a dynamite game for Ironton, scoring 37 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Another player making a difference was Tyler Roach, who scored 17 points.
Ironton's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Fairview, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Ironton will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chesapeake at 7:30 p.m. Chesapeake and Ironton are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. Fairview will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Lawrence County at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. One thing working in Lawrence County's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
