North Canyon kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Thunderbird Titans, falling 12-4. The Rattlers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak dating back to last season.

North Canyon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Dye, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Emilio Figueroa was another, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

North Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-0 loss against Skyline on the 27th. As for Thunderbird, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 victory against South Mountain on the 27th.
