2A Region 6 recap Nov. 7, 2012
St. Joseph Catholic extended the longest winning streak in 2A Region 6 this week by beating Enterprise, 38-0. The win marks 12th in a row for the the Bruins.
Puckett made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,063 from 12,225. The advance stemmed from a 52-6 victory over the Wolves last week.
St. Joseph Catholic's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bruins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Chris Hanneke has thrown for 1012 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Nick Beasley has 17 catches for 518 yards. Brett Burgess leads the league in rushing with 759 yards.
St. Joseph Catholic led the league in scoring this week after putting up 38 points on the Bulldogs. Hanneke threw for 101 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
